Look at the pictures of what the podium at Georgetown looks like uncovered, and after receiving the "Obama Treatment." I am surprised to see that his team did nothing about the frescoes on the wall above him, but I guess they figured it was enough that the drapes would remove detailing so that all focus remained on the man behind - oops, in front of - the curtain.Remember, his people said they covered up the crest of the Jesuits because it would appear "out of context." Well, they are right when you take a lovely stage and transform it into something that looks like a cheesy Ramada Inn conference room.
