Like you I did NOT ever want to see "Cats." However, I succumbed to my daughter's pressure (whining??) and went to see it. FABULOUS - have seen it here in LA, NYC and DC. Take digi-daughter...it's well worth it.

DW, no. I abhor "Cats." I thought it was the worst piece o' crap ever written, scored, and choreographed.
Hell is a combination of the DMV at First & Grand in Santa Ana, Chuck E. Cheese, with a never-ending performance of "Cats."

I guess it would fit into my old reviewer's classification: Emenently missable.
I would list Cats as one of the worst musicals, followed by Mama Mia, because, although I love ABBA, I HATED the story line.
Hated it.
But, I just might watch Obama the musical, just as people enjoyed "Springtime for Hitler" in the Producers.
Please tell me the musical is really a joke.
