The Gift That Keeps on Stopping the Giving . . .

Gift certificates have become a popular holiday gift option, but a controversial new one, already has people talking. For the first time, Planned Parenthood in Indiana is offering gift certificates.
The organization said a big increase in calls and visits from newly unemployed and uninsured Hoosiers prompted what it calls the unusual, yet practical gift option.
Some Hoosiers 24-Hour News 8 talked to asked if the gift certificates could be used towards abortions. The answer is yes. But, Planned Parenthood said that's not the purpose of the gift certificates.
Nothing celebrates a holiday more than killing . . . rat bastards.

Revolting.

I suppose they also have a "buy one [abortion[ get one free" offer?

Just put ME on the Jury. I wonder if the phrase "jury nullification" would come up in the "voir dire."

Nothing gives me that "Christ is born today" feeling more than a nice discount on an abortion....

I have an idea.....how about, in response, get a hardware chain to hand out gift certificates for beams of wood, lighter fluid, matches and white sheets in honor of Martin Luther King Day?

Shouldn't THAT be ok, too?

Apparently the irony of Herod's wholesale slaughter of kids immediately following Christ's birth didn't occur to the PP folks...

Kasia, chances are they've never heard the story. I long for the day when everyone was at least "something." i.e. a Jew, a Christian at least of one denomination or another. Now on Sundays instead of meeting at church people either sleep through it or gather at Starbucks or a football game. Yet a good percentage of people still claim to be believers. Trouble is how are they distinguishable from none believers? A lousy hour a week is too much for God? They waste far more time than that in front of the TV.
