Do you think with the rapid rise in his followers' eyes as Messiah, The One, that if Obama does not win, there would be incidents of suicide among his faithful? This thought occurred to me and I thought perhaps they would be too selfish to do that, but then, suicide is a pretty damn selfish act.

You know, I think so, too, and people keep saying, "No, there won't be." But I think there will be. And, as so many times before, the disenfranchised will loot and burn their own neighborhoods.
I suspect Korean grocers in South Central L.A. will be watching the results Tuesday night nervously . . .
I wish I could say that there won't be violence if he doesn't win, but honestly, with how skewed the press coverage has been, with the polls that have been reported, and with 2000 still fresh in people's minds...well, let's just say maybe I should take Nov. 5 off work, just in case.
At the very least, if he loses, it will be ugly a la 2000.
His followers are so outlandish that I am expecting trouble if he doesn't win.
we sure could use a few less liberals around. but they are selfish so no they wont. dying for a cause is a very catholic idea.
If the nobama wins, he is not going to be able to live up to all his sweet talking promises--then it will be kool-aid drinking time.
We should be so lucky. Walter, I also think there will be violence if he does win. Remember those ghetto people after the 84 Series when Detroit won? Obama's natural constituents.
