A few thoughts came to me regarding the chatter that Obama *might* replace Biden with Clinton:
- There is an assumption that if he did, somehow Obama magically gets 18 million more votes that Clinton won in the primaries. But doesn't he already have them? Haven't we been told by the Dems that the majority of Clinton backers switched over to Obama's side?
- Would Clinton even agree to take the position? Or is it too much like being that ugly girl cousin at the prom who Obama is taking because his first date fizzled out? I don't think Clinton wants Obama to win, else spoil her chance in 2012 . . . unless in Obama's "secret-meeting-in-the-bunker" with Bill a couple of weeks ago, he made a deal with the Devils to go for a one-term presidency . . . which, to paraphrase Rudy, I'd get in writing as there is no honor among thieves.
- Hillary is the poster child for women who love too much. If Obama did pull this, how many women would actually find Clinto in disfavor because first she stuck with The Man Who Cheated On Her and now she'd be getting into bed with The Man Who Passed Her By.
