. . . because I couldn't find a decent cilice in my size.
Find the Will of God and do it to the best of my abilities....That and expose the left for the POS that it really is.
I would try to be a saint. I would probably also buy a lottery ticket. Which is one reason I'm not a saint...Is the Digifamily OK following the big earthquake?
Kasia, thanks, yeah. My office is at the epicenter and we rocked-n-rolled pretty good here. But I am back at work! LOL!
Geez, digi, I feel CHEATED, CHEATED I tell you. I was in Old Town with a friend when it happened and I didn't feel zip. But had I been standing 8 miles east of where I am now, I WOULD have because we always felt the LA ones pretty good. I am somewhat amused by the news statements that "workers spilled out into the streets." Uh, no, more likely "TOURISTS (and illegal aliens whose houses normally fall down around their ears in a quake like that "back home") spilled out into the streets."Karen
In which case, it's time for me to become president and fix this place Catholic Social Teaching style ;)
Succeed!Yeah, I'd either find the cure for cancer or (more probably) go for the Poweball ticket and do all the manner of fun, serious, and philanthropic things thereafter.
