Just one more posting before I leave for work. These are boys who do amazing back flips on Beale Street in Memphis for tips. It was shot in color but I just wanted to see how it looked in B&W.
I was walking in Memphis.
Walking with my feet ten feet off of Beale.
To a smaller scale, Beale Street is to Memphis what Bourbon Street is to New Orleans.

really neat photo. many moons ago the then pastor taught me the rudiments of photography (he was excellent, and often developed his own pics etc) told me that it's good to do pictures in black and white because you can better see the contrasts and the aim was to get good contrast of range of color and the composition of the photo was more discernable as to whether you had a good composition. Black and white is almost a lost art...
Karen,
I agree. I love still photography more than videos because I love looking at a moment in time captured for scrutiny. And I love B&W photos best because of the contrast. I can studt B&W photographs for hours.
