Blogging Runs - Nay, Gallops - in the Family

I attended a family wedding this weekend that resulted in a Gaggle of Griesgrabers - this is the family of my late mother-in-law, of blessed memory (+), and it is always a delight to spend time with these folks.

I had fun catching up with my two nieces, Jen and Carly (actually, this picture shows Carly on the left and Jen on the right). Both have grown up to be accomplished, beautiful young women and they remain extremely close as sisters, notwithstanding the fact that Jen is an up and coming Beltway sophisticate who attended college in Washington D.C. and Carly (Brachiopods Rule!) is completing her studies in marine biology in Hawaii and exudes the da kine spirit.

Anyway, I came across Jen's blog - flaming liberal politically, but we love her! Go read Wahine Report and tell 'er, Auntie Steph sent ya!

Um, girls, you really don't mind me posting this picture, do you? Despite the funny faces, they are both gorgeous and if anyone knows of some nice, respectful, Catholic fellows in Virginia or Hawaii their age, send me their resumes . . .

Oh dear! We really do exude sophistication, charm and grace! Where can we sample the rest of your photographic repertoire from this occasion! Thanks again for coming down this weekend! It was fabulous to see you!

Jen,

Hmmmm . . . double posting, eh? When I left you last, Thomasina was buying you another maragrita at Fred's - how many did you have after THAT one?

I will post these on the Griesgraber board, no fear. I shot them in RAW format, so I have to convert them first to JPGs.

Ideally, resumes should include 3 character references from Carmelite nuns.
