I am familar with the facts of this case, as it extends into California as well. I would urge anyone considering divorce to watch this and ask yourself if it is worth it.

In another matter, one of my clients called and said the opposing party is willing to go to marriage counseling to try to salvage their relationship, and both are committed to doing so with the help of Jesus. So, while I can not reveal names out of the duty of confidentiality, please pray for my client and their spouse that Christ will guide them.

I certainly will pray for these folks.
I thought it was an interesting argument thay the husband would pre-plan to marry only to divorce to get an upper hand when it came to child custody.
My husband and I were recently talking about the financial "divorce bonus" we would recieve if we legally divorced and just stayed together.
