All this hoopla and a comment I just made got me thinking - why should I use a pseudonym? Look at people like Jeff Miller over at The Curt Jester and Amy Pawlak at Modern Commentaries - they are not afraid to have their names up on the Internet. And I stand by what I say.
So, from now on, you can see my name to the left - that's me. In Santa Ana. Just leave my family alone (though you can come after my mother as I have no doubt that Dottie can take you out . . .)

So, er, uh, which side of the family do you take after?
So far, I've not had any issues with posting my name on my blog.
I am not ashamed of my opinions, and if I make a mistake in reporting I'll correct it.
I've had a few moments where I've worried about what people - specifically those I criticize - would do, especially after I have children.
But my faith and values are my own, and while it may seem we are heading towards a society a la 1984, where the Thought Police quell such things, we're not there as of yet.
And I will not be silenced. I cannot expect to set a good example or pass on my faith and values to my children if I let bullies shut me down.
It's very nice to meet you, albeit digitally, Stephanie.
David - the right side. ;-)
I'm still Jimbob, but my cause for canonization won't really begin for another 50 years. In the mean time, I figured I'd work towards it, so that when the Congregation for the Causes of Saints works on my Positio, it'll practically write itself.
Excellent (ha-ha)!!!
I use my real name also, my sister-in-law found my blog and actually complimented me on it. I don't hide that I'm a Catholic when I'm face to face to people, and even when I was in employment situations (of course in the most appropriate way). I used it in chit chat, especially when I helped out with marriage prep, Catholic or not who doesn't have a co-habitating/engagement/wedding/divorce story to share.
I'm the Digibrother and don't dare mess with the family. You see, we come from the Bronx. Unlike Brooklyn, we don't brag about how tough we are. We just show it.
Digibro! Hey, youse guys, dis here's my baby bruddah, comin' in all the way from his pad in Jersey!
Hey, Digibro - Ma gettin' ready to come see ya - ya want anything from California? Check out the pissin' contest I had down below - now, don't you and the Polack cousins go pickin' on the Caveman, 'cause it wouldn;t be no fair fight!
